The Book of Me, Written by You, Prompt 1

Today is the launch of what is going to be a 15 month project. Each Saturday, at around 12.30am UK time I will release the prompt for that week's Book of Me, Written by You.

If you are new here, welcome! The details, background flyer and Face Book link to the Book of Me can be found HERE

The prompt for week 1 is a recognized psychology test

  1. Ask yourself 20 times “Who are you?”
Each time you should give yourself a different answer, and if you can easily go beyond 20 then that is fine too. The last time I did this (December 2012) I came up with 26. This is the sort of prompt that you can re do at various stages of your life, perhaps after some changes or at the start of the New Year.

This prompt is about how YOU see YOU.

A little later I will stop by with my answers.

  1. Oh no! I remember my oldest daughter had an assignment to do this once, not herself but to interview people to get their answers. My second daughter and I drove her crazy second guessing ourselves. Come to think of it, I guess on this prompt that would work fine.

    1. I know,it is often not liked because people think about what others are putting down. It is a good one to repeat though as the responses change over time and situations.

  3. Are we posting our results in a special spot or linking them somewhere?

    1. The responses really should be in your own spot - blog or journal as you might want to create a journal for future generations. Some have shared their responses via the Face Book page, other prompts might be more private & you not wish to share the answers.

  9. May I join late Julie? I'd like to try to catch up. My baby grand daughter passed away and I haven't been blogging. I'll have to work hard to keep up with all those fabulous posts. Starting today!

  10. Sharn I am sorry for your loss. Of course you may jump in late - the Facebook group is worth joining; lots of support, encouragement & sharing (share what you feel comfortable with) if you are behind, no matter you can catch up - jump right in.
